In macOS, a "Multi-Output Device" is a virtual audio device that allows you to route audio output to multiple devices simultaneously. If you want to delete or remove a Multi-Output Device on your Mac, you can follow these steps:

Access Sound Preferences:

Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen and select "System Preferences." Then, choose "Sound."

Select Output Tab:

In the "Sound" preferences window, click on the "Output" tab. This is where you manage your audio output devices.

Remove Multi-Output Device:

You should see a list of available audio output devices. Locate the "Multi-Output Device" that you want to delete.

Remove Device:

To remove the Multi-Output Device, select it in the list, and then click the "-" (minus) button located at the bottom of the device list. This will remove the Multi-Output Device from your system.

Confirm Removal:

A confirmation dialog will appear, asking if you want to remove the Multi-Output Device. Click the "Remove" button to confirm.

Adjust Default Output:

After removing the Multi-Output Device, you might want to adjust the default output device to your desired option. You can do this by selecting another device in the list and clicking the "Use this device for sound output" checkbox.
