To restart a Dell laptop, you can use one of the following methods:

Method 1: Using the Start Menu

Click on the Windows icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen to open the Start Menu.

Click on the Power icon, which looks like a circle with a vertical line inside it.

From the dropdown menu, select "Restart."

Your Dell laptop will now begin the restart process.

Method 2: Using the Keyboard

On your keyboard, press and hold the "Ctrl" key.

While holding the "Ctrl" key, press the "Alt" key.

While still holding both the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys, press the "Delete" key.

This will open the Windows Security screen.

Click on the power icon in the bottom-right corner of the Windows Security screen.

From the dropdown menu, select "Restart."

Method 3: Using the Power Button

On your Dell laptop's keyboard, locate the power button.

Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until the laptop shuts down completely.

Wait for a few seconds, then press the power button again to turn on the laptop.

When the laptop restarts, it will go through the boot-up process, and you'll be presented with the login screen once it's fully restarted. Choose the method that is most convenient for you to restart your Dell laptop.
